Santa Caterina is the market of the old town’s east side, under a wavy roof of 325,000 coloured ceramic tiles, finished in 2005. Inside: fruit, fish, cheese and a few bars where the stallholders have their breakfast.
It is quieter than the Boqueria, and three minutes from our door.
